Usually once a year, I reflect upon the past year, both personally and on the world as a whole. It has been a tradition of this blog for some time now. As I think about the past year, I can only think that I just don't want to do it. Usually there are some good things to go with the bad; 2008 sucked, and I think we are all ready for it to be over.
Some highlights include:
- Banking Scandal
- Taxpayer Giveaway to Wall Street
- John McCain
- Sarah Palin
- Barack Obama
- Joe Biden
- Hillary Clinton
- John Edwards
- Hurricanes
- Microsoft Buying Yahoo
- Yahoo Not Accepting
- Circuit City going Bankrupt
- This sucks because not because it is a good store (it is a bad store), but because it leaves no checks in place to control Best Buy's piss poor customer service.
- Off-Shore Drilling
- Tina Fey at Sarah Palin
In general, what a horrible year. Here is looking towards 2009.
